Who we are. What we do. And why.
An incomplete list
XPosed is a very divers group of people. There's men and there's women. There's the experienced and the absolute photographic newbie. There's older people, and teenagers. You name it, we got it. On top of that, we're spread out all over Belgium, with even some people from Holland. And when it comes to photographic disciplines; we've got it all too.
As a result of our diversity, the list below is also very diverse, and far from complete. Some have a personal page here. Others do not, as they feel the time is not ripe yet, or as they like their anonimity. Some have a website, some have not. Etc...
Miriam van der Have
Miriam J. van der Have (1958) has been advising corporations in the graphic arts industry since 1984. Before that she was a professional photographer. She is co-founder of Emday BV and has written several books and articles on PDF workflows, color management, font technology, PostScript and digital imaging. In 2006 she developed a number of training courses for professional photographers.
Stef Vandersmissen
I'm a passionated amateur - photographer. Main interest : models, music and macro. other : sports, culture. I'm also photographing for FDZaventem.
Geert Franquet
Geert started with photography 2 years ago. He is mainly interested in sports photography and especially in motorised sports, cycling and football. He is team photographer of FC Germinal Beerschot (winner of the Belgian Cupfinal in 2005) and hopes to become a professional photographer in the future.
Jimmy De Taeye
Jimmy is an amateur photographer. He's interested in nature, animal, portrait, sports and stage photography. He's willing to shoot events now and then.
Dirk Vannecke
Dirk is a site administrator of XPosed. He is a photo hobiist located at the Belgian seaside. He is mainly a travel photographer, but is currently expanding his portfolio and thus looking for assignments in various disciplines.
Demetrius Vanspranghe
Demetrius is an amateur photographer who loves to travel around the world, covering most of the major airshows. When he's not facing the sky, he shoots cities, musea, national parks, etc... Demetrius is also member of "Klik-Klak".
Stefaan Ellebaut
Stefaans main interest is photography, along with webdesign and military aviation. Besides his passion for military aviation photography and portraits, he is also fond of product photography, events, animals and macro. You could say he's 'multiphotographical'... He is also an administrator of Xposed.
André Marchandise
André is a photographer mostly active in race photography. He is interested in covering car/formula racing, rallye and karting at the national or FIA/CIK level and is willing to travel through Europe to cover such events. Besides motorised sports, André has become a reknowned studio photographer, and is currently Praha Khan's official shooter. An extensive portfolio can be found on his website.
Rudi Compté
Rudi has always been fascinated by photography. Since the digital age, he's been active mostly in model-, horse- and sports photography. But other disciplines like macro- and nature photography are also amongst his intrests. Rudi is also a member of Klik-klak Zaventem.
Koen Aerts
Starting 'back in the eighties' with no-frills Chinon gear, manual focus Vivitar lenses and second-rate Agfachrome clichés, Koen currently acts as a freelance military aviation journalist, leading Aero Topics, an independent press agency which focuses on worldwide press coverage of military and military-related aviation topics. Established in late 1999, the agency has currently published over 550 pages of text and illustrations with some 30 magazines worldwide, proving the successful outcome of its activities.
Willy Bertels
Willy is a forum administrator of XPosed and is a model photographer "pur sang", with many years of experience. But apart from spending lots of time in the studio, Willy also shoots whatever looks like a challenge to him; sports, nature, events, you name it.
Johan De Bondt
Currently Johan spends all his leisure time in Southern Africa. It's at the heart of the Okavango Delta in Botswana that he developed his true passion for wildlife photography. He hopes that these wonderful places will be preserved for future generations.
Eric Vandeputte
Eric is a graphical designer for Option Wireless technology and teaches photography and digital video at CVO Hageland in Aarschot. He is also active as a freelance photographer. His main photographic intrest are people, indoor sports, automotive, events and product photography.
Jonas Van Bogaert
One things's for sure: Jonas' passion is photography! His main interest lies in nature- and model photography. But of course, he's also willing to shoot an event now and then, if time permits. He is eager to learn and really bitten by the photo virus.
